Some worry about motives
as Christians rally for Israel

If you walked into the Mayflower Hotel in Washington recently, you might have thought you were at a meeting of the American Israel Public Affairs Committee — until you heard the shouts of “Hallelujah” and “amen” that accompanied the thunderous applause for pro-Israel sentiments. The first “Stand for Israel” day brought pro-Israel Christian activists to Washington just a day after AIPAC had finished its lobbying on Capitol Hill.
